Hopkins Village started off as a fishing and farming Garifuna community with a population of 500 Garinagu. Now Hopkins Village has grown to a population of 2,500 people. Hopkins is now known as a popular tourist destination in Belize, #Hopkins was recently voted “The Friendliest #Village in Belize” by Belize’s First Magazine.
